Spray tanning uses solutions that carry the active ingredients of either dihydroxyacetone (dha) , erythrulose or both to the top layers of skin causing a reaction with the protiens that creates a brown appearence to the skin. This is a new a safe way of achieving a bronze look without the risks of skin cancer associated with overexposure from the sun or from a tanning bed. Technicians will use an airbrush, or an HVLP gun to spray the tanning solution onto the body. DHA has been approved by the FDA for over 30 years for cosmetic applications. We use a delivery system that provides an even application thereby avoiding streaking and blotching. This spray tan lasts approximately 6—12 days depending on your activities and skin type.
